i've kinda given up. being a studious and hardworking person is no easy task, and when this demand is made of youth, it becomes all the more daunting. Say you pluck us all from the pressure cooker system that we call school and give us a whole month off. Naturally everyone would indulge in some deserved rest&recreation first. unfortunately once we've played enough there dawns the realisation that we have done too little, too late.
to quote nicholas "cos it's only common test. and will it kill me? maybe."
and to quote me "ok. kill then kill lor. damn i need some new stuff"
anyway on to more mundane stuff (actually there's nothing more mundane than studying i think) - i just caught singapore odol and i think its funny how in the pre-performance interview daniel ong will always mention some quirky fact about the song that the next contestant is gonna sing. "oh that song was a chart-topper and critical success" or "and that's off her sophomore album" "that song debuted at #23068236 on the chart way back in 2001" blahblahblah. also, the judges are quite useless. most of the time they've got nothing good to say, and you've got nothing good to say then don't say nothing. of course that would give us a boring boring show, and i'd be more than happy to have project runway occupy that primetime 8pm slot over idol anyday.
